Given the central role of work in daily life, there exists a vast potential for spreading the Christian faith within the professional sphere. This involves empowering believers to embrace their vocational spiritual missions, meld their work-life with their faith, and foster transformation within the corporate realm and the broader community.

Just as the city has become the regional hub for finance, trade and travel, it also represents a broader strategic hub to advance the gospel – the “Antioch of Asia” – as envisioned by Reverend Billy Graham in 1978 for the growth of Christianity in Asia. With more than 800 churches, including several meg-churches, and many Christian teaching institutions, ministries and conferences, Singapore serves as a strong equipping and “sending” base for Christians from throughout the region and the world. Resource Global Singapore recognizes its part to play in this bigger picture of the body of Christ collaborating with one another for greater Kingdom purposes."
For Christian professionals embedded in a fast-paced and demanding environment, reconciling their faith with their professional lives can be a complex task. It's equally challenging to connect with peers who aspire to transcend beyond the pursuit of wealth in their careers. What avenues exist for these emerging leaders to discover a harmonious blend of vocational purpose and spiritual values? In what spaces can they cultivate a Christian perspective, particularly in a setting where forgiveness and compassion may be infrequent? Looking at the bigger picture, how might this new wave of leaders uphold the duties inspired by the Antioch of Asia, utilizing their distinct talents amid the flux of contemporary times?
In this exciting confluence of geography, demographics and gospel expansion, the Resource Global Singapore team invites Christian professionals of all ages to join us in 2022 as cohort members, mentors and teachers.
Meet our Singapore City Director: Tim Ong
Tim Ong is a devoted Australian chef and entrepreneur with a foundation built on faith and purpose. Merging a bachelor's degree in commerce with a culinary degree, he brings a distinct perspective to the world of food businesses. Having planted roots in Asia for over a decade, Tim is deeply committed to fostering enterprises that not only prosper but also echo God's call for environmental stewardship, human development, and positive global impact.
Tim's journey intertwines his love for food and faith; from his early days as a chef to his service as a youth leader, he recognizes the challenges and blessings of integrating faith into the workplace. He has facilitated Alpha courses, led Faith Driven Entrepreneur programs, and now shepherds a faith-centered community group, Narnia. In moments of reflection, Tim can be found snowboarding in Japan, exploring the underwater beauty in Indonesia, or savoring divinely inspired dishes.
