Tommy Lee
Founder and President
Tommy Lee is the founder and president of Resource Global, an organization whose mission is to teach, mentor and connect emerging Christian marketplace leaders around the world so they can renew their cities and workplaces for the Gospel. He oversees a global team of City Directors based in Chicago, Austin, Jakarta, Medan, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Nairobi, Pretoria/Johannesburg and Hong Kong.
Entrepreneurial by nature, he is passionate about creating partnerships based on Acts 1:8: “to take His word from Jerusalem to Samaria to the ends of the Earth” and has worked on a variety of initiatives with leaders including A21, Navigators Chicago, Redeemer City to City, the Lausanne Congress, Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers, Willow Creek Leadership Summit, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Urbana Missions Conference, TogetherLA with Tim Keller, and Ravi Zacharias Ministries, among others. He has helped plan or execute on strategic events for Far East Broadcasting Company, Billy Graham Center, World Relief, Barnabas Group and the National Religious Broadcasters.
In addition to his work at RG, Tommy is the Executive Director of The Grow Center for Church and Mission and Northern Seminary and Managing Director of TogetherLA and the founder of CreatePossible LLC, a for profit company. He is on the board of inContext with Dr. Michael Easley and Renew Chicago.
Prior to working in the non-profit sector, Tommy worked in the telecommunications sector and spent two years as a pastor at Lakeview Church IL, and 15 years working with high school and college students at the Chinese Christian Union Church in Chicago.
Tommy has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University and a master’s degree from Moody Theology Seminary. He enjoys living in Chicago with his wife Charlene and daughters Samantha and Karra. He is the host of multiple podcasts, one of which is not related to his day job, but related to his love of fantasy sports: NFL Fantasy Matchup.
