Resource Global adds senior leadership and launches radio program to advance mission to train the next generation of Christian marketplace leaders.

Organization hires Fuller Seminary professor Ahmi Lee as Chief Strategy Officer; and radio industry veteran Collin Lambert to develop new program on the changing face of global missions

CHICAGO, IL - Resource Global (RG) today announces two new initiatives designed to grow the organization and extend its voice as the premier organization training and mentoring emerging Christian marketplace leaders in cities around the world.

Author and theologian Ahmi Lee will join the RG leadership team as Chief Strategy Officer beginning July 2021.  In this role she will be responsible for strategic growth, relationship building and exploring new cities in which Resource Global can expand its cohort network and training programs for emerging Christian marketplace leaders.

Lee most recently served as Assistant Professor of Preaching at Fuller Theological Seminary since 2015. As a “third culture kid” born in South Korea, raised in Japan, and educated in an American-founded international school in Japan, Lee’s unique background and experience enrich her understanding and passion for preaching in the global church context.

Prior to coming to Fuller, Lee served in both monoethnic and multiethnic congregations in the Chicago area in the capacities of teaching pastor, college and young adults pastor, and children’s pastor. Her 12 years of pastoral experience also include preaching, teaching,  and directing initiatives for churches, parachurch organizations, and conferences around the world. She remains an active preacher and speaker worldwide.

Lee received her B.A. from Wheaton College, her M.Div from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and her Ph.D from Fuller Theological Seminary. She is the author of Preaching God’s Grand Drama: A Biblical-Theological Approach (Baker Academic, 2019). She currently lives in Los Angeles with her family.

“It’s important that we remember our holistic calling regarding words and deeds. We’re called to preach the gospel at all times, and the manner in which we live should also testify to the gospel and prove our faith and message authentic.” - Ahmi Lee

“We are honored to have someone of Ahmi’s talent and caliber join our team, applying the gifts God has given her to advance His mission of equipping leaders,” said Tommy Lee, Resource Global President.  “Her experience and international background will connect with people of all kinds, and help us continue to train and empower young marketplace leaders to achieve transformative Gospel impact in their cities and workplaces around the world.”

Missions Today radio program in production for Christian Radio with Host Collin Lambert

Additionally, Resource Global is proud to be developing a new radio show - Missions Today - a weekly 26-minute program hosted by radio veteran Collin Lambert that will spotlight the work of Resource Global through interviews with RG’s teachers, volunteers, marketplace leaders, and young alumni all over the world.

Currently in the planning and pre-production phase, Resource Global will make this program available to Christian radio stations and networks across the country for weekend release. More details will be available at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention in Dallas in June and at resourceglobal.org.

It is an opportunity to get the message out about Resource Global while informing and educating people on what the global church and global missions look like today.

The program is being hosted and produced by Collin Lambert, a veteran of Christian and Mainstream media, who brings more than 39 years of experience in international media and training.

Previously, Collin served as Vice President of Moody Radio and was with the Christian broadcast outlet for more than 15 years. He also worked in many areas of management, hosted various programs at country, talk, Christian and jazz stations, has directed television broadcasts, worked in the local church, planned major events and hosted hundreds of hours of on-air fundraising.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Religious Broadcasters and as the Director of Radio Products for Resource Global.  Collin and his wife, Patti, have three grown children, and live in their hometown of Austin, TX.

“Through our work, we have come to understand that the approaches of today’s missionaries looks different than what has been done in the past,” said Resource Global President Tommy Lee. “Resource Global is in an unique front row seat today to lead the discussion on what the global church and marketplace missions look like in major global cities - particularly among young marketplace leaders. We are thrilled to have someone like Collin to explore these themes and share the voices of leaders who are in the forefront of mission work today.”
