Resource Global partners with Sunday SVC at SXSW 2025

As Resource Global enters its sixth year in Austin, partnership continues to be a core value of our organization. We are always looking for ways to collaborate with like-minded partners in the cities where we work and serve. Instead of reinventing the wheel, is there an opportunity to partner with a group who is already doing it in the city? How can we work with existing partners who are doing good things to serve the city? One of those opportunities is through gatherings. While planning our annual Faith and Work Conference in Austin this past fall, an exciting opportunity arose to partner with Zac Tinney and Sunday SVC.

Sunday SVC is a faith-based movement that creates spaces for inspiring worship, meaningful connections, and gospel-centered conversations within the context of significant cultural events. The initiative began during South by Southwest (SXSW) as a way to unite Christians attending the festival for a Sunday worship gathering. Over the last two years, Sunday SVC has grown into an event that provides attendees a unique opportunity to pause, connect, and reflect on their faith amidst the energy and creativity of SXSW. Last year, Sunday SVC hosted two days of events that welcomed over 7,000 participants.

SXSW is one of the world’s most influential festivals, drawing over 300,000 attendees annually to Austin, Texas. Celebrating innovation and culture, SXSW spans music, film, technology, and business; attracting participants from more than 100 countries. It serves as a global platform for professionals and creatives to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and explore emerging trends. With industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries from cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, London, Nairobi, Jakarta, and Singapore converging to share insights and innovation, this event transforms Austin into a hub of energy and creativity.Since its inception at SXSW, Sunday SVC has become an essential part of the festival experience for attendees seeking spiritual renewal. What began as a small Sunday gathering has evolved into a significant event that draws thousands of participants from diverse industries and nations. These gatherings focus on worship, faith, and the integration of Christian principles into work and creativity, providing a space for leaders to connect and be inspired.

Resource Global will combine our 2025 Faith and Work Conference in March with this gathering.  Sunday SVC will be held March 7–9, 2025 at Distribution Hall in Austin. SXSW will take place in Austin from March 7–15, 2025.
